Follow the Sun

I was having breakfast in the garden, enjoying the warm autumn sun on my skin. I looked over at the garden beds that are still producing fresh, delicious, flavorful vegetables. We have a bountiful garden and we are savoring the goodness as the days grow shorter.

I noticed that the okra plants had a distinct tilt to them. Okra is a sequential producer, so these plants are now quite tall, with the newest edible treat forming on the top of the stalk. See for yourself, these plants are still seeking the most sun they can get.

The camera was held straight. What you see are plants are being resourceful and following the sun. The pull of the sun shapes these plants as they follow the warmth and light.

Fans And Happy Clients Are Your Sunshine

Follow them. Seek them out. Spend as much time as you can in their radiance. Cultivate the sunshine of your fans. Their warmth will nurture you and help your business grow and ripen. Keep following their light instead of chasing after people who don’t understand you. You’ll be happier and your energy will produce more fruitful results.

Act Like a Happy Plant

Be like this ivy. It is growing near a window in my office. See it peeping out from behind the curtains. Like most healthy plants, it too is a sun-seeker. Stop hiding yourself and get out there in the sun.
